Provincial Nominee Programs have become the most convenient way to get permanent residence (PR) in Canada. While many Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs) require candidates to have a connection to their province – most importantly, such as an job offer letter; some programmes welcome candidates merely based on their ability to address labour or demographic shortfalls without any job offer.
A provincial nomination increases an applicant’s Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) score by 600 points, guaranteeing them an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for PR in the following Express Entry draw.
The following four PNPs streams listed below are considered the most straightforward and easiest province to get PR in Canada during 2022.
#1. Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream

Ontario also offers a PNP route for French-Speaking Skilled Workers with Express Entry profiles. This programme may be a good fit for you if you have intermediate to advanced French language skills.
#2. Prince Edward Island Express Entry
The province of Prince Edward Island uses the Canada Express Entry system to attract potential immigrants for its provincial nominee programme. Once your express entry profile is created, you have to submit your expression of interest to the PEI portal. If you are picked in the draw, you will be asked to submit the documents for a final decision, and afterwards, a PNP notification will be received in your express entry portal, giving you a boost of 600 points.
PEI has the highest number of immigrants per capita in Canada. It had an immigration rate of roughly 1.6 percent before the pandemic, compared to about 0.9 percent nationally. The province has the largest newcomer inflow in Canada as a percentage of the population.

In Canada’s prairie area, Saskatchewan has been a favourite immigration destination due to its strong economic growth and job prospects.
Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker PNP’s Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry streams are meant to attract employees with experience in the province’s most in-demand occupations. These International Skilled Worker streams use an Expression of Interest (EOI) approach to hand-pick candidates.
Applicants must have at least one year of experience in an occupation not on SINP’s Excluded Occupations list to submit an EOI. Candidates must also have to score a minimum of 60 points on Saskatchewan’s points assessment grid, to submit an EOI profile. The submitted profiles are then considered in one of SINP’s EOI draws. In SINP EOI draws, only candidates with the highest SINP scores and in-demand occupations are invited.
Candidates eligible for Express Entry can apply for their permanent residence application to be processed faster through the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream. Those who do not meet the Express Entry eligibility requirements can still apply for the Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand stream making this one of the easiest Province to get PR in Canada.
#4. Alberta’s Express Entry Stream
Several of Canada’s wealthiest cities, like Calgary and Edmonton, are located in Alberta, the country’s western province. Alberta is a popular destination for newcomers because of its thriving economy and high-quality education.
The Alberta Express Entry stream chooses candidates for a provincial nomination from the Federal Express Entry pool. Express Entry candidates with CRS scores as low as 300 are considered, which means that there are more chances for the people in the pool to receive a Notification of Interest from the province.
It’s important to note that a CRS score of more than 300 does not guarantee your acceptance into Alberta’s Express Entry programme. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program releases the CRS score of the lowest-ranking candidate from each round of invites, but the not the additional targeted criteria. The following factors may improve a candidate’s chances:
- A qualifying relative who is a permanent resident or citizen of Alberta
- a job offer or work experience in Alberta
- and a credential from a Canadian post-secondary school
Because of its low CRS requirement, Alberta is usually regarded as one of the easiest province to get PR in Canada.
